Last Saturday night, Israeli soldiers invaded Nabi Saleh village, north of Ramallah in the central part of the occupied West Bank, assaulted and injured a young man, and confiscated surveillance recordings from several shops they stormed and ransacked.
Bilal Tamimi, a local nonviolent activist, said the soldiers invaded the home of Nidal Tamimi, 35, and ransacked the property while repeatedly assaulting him, causing various injuries.
He added that the soldiers detained Nidal for a few hours despite his wounds before releasing him.
Many Palestinians protested the invasion before the soldiers fired concussion grenades and gas bombs and occupied rooftops to use as firing posts.
Tamimi also said that the soldiers broke into and ransacked several shops in the village and confiscated surveillance recordings.
It is worth mentioning that, on Thursday night, a Palestinian child was critically injured, and his father suffered serious wounds after Israeli soldiers fired live rounds at them near an Israeli military roadblock at the entrance of Nabi Saleh village, northwest of the central West Bank city of Ramallah.
On Saturday evening, the soldiers invaded Beit Ummar town, north of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and fired live rounds at the windows of a home nearby the iron gate at the entrance of the town, causing damage.
The soldiers also assaulted two siblings in the invaded home, Mahmoud, 33, and Omar Abdul-Aziz Awad, 23, and forced the entire family out of their property.
